Perry Ellis releases fragrances in conjunction with Falic Fashion Group, and the company as a whole is more known for its apparel collections. Ellis was an incredibly famous fashion designer who was active in the industry throughout the 1970s and 80s until his death in 1986. After he earned a masters degree in retailing, he went to work as a buyer and merchandiser. He later opened his own retail store, and once he traveled back to New York, he designed his first womenswear collection. Despite not being able to sketch the designs, his experience in the industry gave him a unique perspective.
